Class Descriptions

Mindful Slow Flow:

For someone who is looking for a gentle practice, to ease aches and pains in a subtle, sustainable way. Slow Flow classes connect accessible yoga poses with breath and movement. Moving from pose to pose in fluid-like motion to slow the mind and destress. A slower pace gives time to explore individual poses. New students can build confidence and familiarity. More experienced students can refine alignment and explore deeper sensations. Enjoy variations within each pose so you can customise your experience. A well-rounded practice. All levels.

Restore. Rejuvenate. Replenish:

A class for those looking for a calm pace. For if you’re feeling rundown and could do with a bit of TLC. Inspired by Yin Yoga this class consists of long held passive poses targeting the body’s connective tissue. Yin yoga does wonders for joint health, flexibility, circulation, and mental focus. The practise will finish with a meditation and long final relaxation (Savasana). All Levels.

Heat Building, Energetic Flow:

This powerful flow class builds strength, works on the core while moving with the breath. Move with your breath, focus your attention, strengthen, stretch and balance. This well rounded flow class will get you out of your head and into your body and breath. Intermediate+.

Beginner Flow:

For those new to yoga and wanting to learn the basics. A step-by-step approach, introducing key yoga poses to build a solid foundation. Working on a variety of poses and sequences in a workshop-like style. Learn how to use the breath with movement. Increase confidence and comfort in your yoga practice.

Strong Slow Flow:

For someone who likes a typical strong vinyasa class while slowing down the pace to feel deep into the poses. Enjoy moving powerfully, building strength and balance but mindfully, slowing down and breathing deeply. All Levels.

Yoga Nidra:

Yoga Nidra, meaning yogic sleep, is a guided meditation practice. This class begins with restorative yoga poses to help prepare the body and mind to settle into a comfortable and relaxing position. Following the restorative practice is the guided meditation (Yoga Nidra practice).

You will first be prompted to set a personal intention (or sankalpa). Then, while in a comfortable lying down position, you will follow along to the teacher’s cues bringing your attention to different points in the body. This class will help you relax the physical body while helping to quiet the mind and calm the nervous system. Props can be used in both the restorative poses as well as the supine position, allowing you to relax into the guided meditation feeling fully supported without any strain or tension in the body. All Levels.
